Look who's 8...Months that is!

Boston is growing! Look at that, we are sitting!! It really is about time that he is.
I swear he is such a lazy baby, he's strong and knows it, but just doesn't want to do things.
Just within the last few weeks has he decided that sitting is actually is fun to do.
You know those Bumbo seats?? If not click on Bumbo to see what it is.
He loves it! but can actually flip himself out of it. Now, luckily he hasnt been close to anything that would hurt him, but its funny to see him on the floor just a talking after he does.

He's an avid clapper, and I mean AVID, does it all the time.
Likes to ramble
Chew his fingers and his hippo
Doesnt like to be on his tummy very much (what baby really does?)
Loves giving kisses (the open mouth kind)
loves his binkie
love being talked to
giggles
likes to stand
is teething (he is really good tho)
His brother and sister ADORE him (so does mom and dad, well and everyone else too)

Time really has flown by and I can't believe that Its been 8 months, I'm grateful that he still loves to cuddle and that he likes to grab my face. I love the smile on his face and the way his eyes light up when someone says hi to him. He is a beautiful little one and brings so much joy.

Tages new adventure

Football is once again upon us... YAY!!!
Bart and his dad have been purchasing BYU season tickets for I believe the last 6 years, and this year they decided to purchase one extra one to have Tage start going with them as a father/son thing.
Tage has now been to 2 games and has been loving it!!

This pic is actually of my dad and Tage. Occasionally my dad gets to go and yes, he has loads of fun too. =)

A post..

So I keep being told that I need to update this or something.
Not that I have been extremely busy, but I am a mom and a wife so I think that counts for something.

Life has been busy though.....
Tage and Savanna are both in school, so for a few hours Tuesday and Thursday its quiet. Of course I have Boston, and its fun to have the one on one time with him. He is getting so big. He is 8 months old now!!! Can you believe that?? I know I cant!

Tage just got done playing his first year of soccer. It was soo much fun to go watch.
5 and 6 year olds running up and down the field, fighting for the ball, shins getting kicked, kids getting pushed and pulled...down right humorous at times. He did awesome :) and of course had so much fun.

The beginnings of Summer

It has finally warmed up here for the kids to have fun with the slip 'n' slide Tage got for his birthday. They loved it!! Absolutely ruined the lawn (at grandmas) but worth it.
Then just some random pictures of Boston. More to come of him. He just turned 4 months old so pics of that mile marker will be coming.
You should be able to click on each image to view it larger.

Teacher Appreciation Gifts

Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week...of course with my constant browsing of craft sites I found this idea.
It was so easy and Tage loved the idea of giving his teacher a gift.
Go here to check it out.

Seriously easy...I think it took me maybe like 30 minutes to make all 4

Smile

GG and Grandpa D were watching Boston today and snapped this pic. I love it cuz he is smiling.
He is just about 12 weeks old. He is getting big and growing, mostly in length, he is one tall baby.
Just a pic update :)

The Laundry Schedule

This is my Laundry schedule...I've been trying to get a bit more organized this year and the idea for this popped into my head. I only did Monday thru Friday so I could have the weekend to play. I love knowing exactly what needs to be done each day. The categories such as Darks or kids are on magnets so its totally flexible, which I love!!

I actually made this a while ago and have debated on whether to put myself out there for a linky party... well, I am!! My first ever and I am, needless to say, a bit nervous. Hopefully this will be the first of many.

I started with piece of wood just over 24 inches long, it was already routered so that was easy.
I painted it all brown, just brown, because I don't remember the actual name. Of course I sanded the edges down, who doesn't do that?

Next I got some craft wood (i think thats the name) I just got a package at the WalMart and then cut them down to the size of pieces I wanted.
Sanded and rounded the edges.

Bring on the Modge Podge.... I didn't want paper that had a busy print that way you could see the letters.

Another purchase at Walmart were these round magnets, I liked them because they had self adhesive that way I didn't have to bother with gluing them down. I put magnets on the pieces of wood and the big board.

I just cut out the letters with plain old cardstock with my cricut.
I didn't have any vinyl and it was late. I don't think they look too bad.

I only did two for each day but it can be created however fits you.

Added ribbon for cuteness.

And the final look....
Its hanging in my laundry room as I type :)
