6 weeks and going strong

Now, I know that I couldn't have posted anything on here without posting some pics of the little man.. I just decided that he needed his own head line. :)

We are almost at the 2 month mark!! Where did all that time go?? Oh wait, I know...feeding, burping, diaper changing, sleeping (him, not me), cuddling, cooing (thats right I said it. Its soo darn cute!!), smiling, picture taking, tummy time.........the list could go on and on.

We ran into the doctors the other day and he is already over 10 pounds!! WOW, I couldnt believe it.

What I've been up to

One of my goals for this 2010 year is to be more organized, to get things done and to be crafty. Well, apparently I had a baby and that stopped all thoughts, ideas, motivation to really do anything for that little "recovery" stage after the baby. Things are slowly getting on the move and I have so many ideas bookmarked that I cant wait to going on. So in saying that....here are a few things that I have started with.

The Laundry Schedule

Ok, so I understand that this may seem a bit, ummmm...out there, but I don't care (sorry to be blunt). I really do love the idea of having a schedule so I know exactly what needs to be done each day. It really was so easy to make, and I LOVE IT!!
The Categories are on magnets so you are able to move them around as you want from day to day.

DIY Candlesticks

So I can't take any credit for these...click here to see where I got the idea.
The only difference in mine is that I could not find the fence pieces that they talked about so I just got a piece of like 1x6 and cut it into squares and then Routered the edges. I have to give a huge shout out to my dad for helping. THANKS DAD!!
And of course I was so in the moment of doing them and getting them done that thats all I did...cut, sand, drill, and paint...
They are missing something don't ya think???

As soon as I get them all gussied up I will post pics again.
These are only three of the sizes we cut, they get biiGGER and I can't wait to show all of you.

These ones here are on my kitchen table and thats where I plan on keeping them, thats why I cut them that short.

Another Week....

Week 5...yes thats right, I said week 5!!
I can hardly believe it, partially because it has gone by so fast and I am sleep deprived and all the days seem to mesh together. But hey, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the whole wide world, being a mom is a great joy to these 3 rug rats pictured.
So, as I was saying...5 weeks, even 1 week makes a big difference. They do grow sooo fast its crazy.

We've started cooing....Oh My Gosh!!! it is the cutest!

Just tonight I got this picture of the three kids before T and Banna headed to bed.
Tage really is in love with his little brother. He always wants to hold Boston, and talks to him so cute while he is. Tells him that its okay when he gets fussy and kisses his forehead...it is really precious. I hope that their bond continues to grow as they grow. As for Savanna, she does love Boston too...always wanting to give him hugs and kisses. She likes it when he is awake so she can talk to him.
Just a cute moment between Banna and Boston, they laid there and talked, kissed...just cute brother/sister stuff for quite some time.

Here are a few of the crafty things I have been doing (sorry the lighting isn't the greatest) I saw them on Controlling My Chaos I thought, "wow, cute and simple." So I tried my hand at them. I quite like them :)

Getting use to it all...

The little man (that runs my life!!)
He is 4 weeks old already. My gosh that went by fast.
He is a pretty good baby...really good at keeping me up at night, really good at making me love him.
I feel bad about not getting an updated pic up sooner, I have had a lot of requests..I'm a slacker.
Anyway, here are a few.

Below are pictures of "craft day" that I HAD to have for something to do. Of course, nothing is done but they are started, which means painted, or half done. Some clip boards to modge podge and a wooden board for the kids coats and another board for something for the laundry room. I will get them done eventually and then maybe post some pics of the end result.

Boston being very cooperative, he slept the entire time :)

And of course, being the nicest mom ever ;)...I let Tage and Savanna paint too. They painted on a few wood boards and tons of papers, as you can see below. Artistic huh?
