The Laundry Schedule

This is my Laundry schedule...I've been trying to get a bit more organized this year and the idea for this popped into my head. I only did Monday thru Friday so I could have the weekend to play. I love knowing exactly what needs to be done each day. The categories such as Darks or kids are on magnets so its totally flexible, which I love!!

I actually made this a while ago and have debated on whether to put myself out there for a linky party... well, I am!! My first ever and I am, needless to say, a bit nervous. Hopefully this will be the first of many.

I started with piece of wood just over 24 inches long, it was already routered so that was easy.
I painted it all brown, just brown, because I don't remember the actual name. Of course I sanded the edges down, who doesn't do that?

Next I got some craft wood (i think thats the name) I just got a package at the WalMart and then cut them down to the size of pieces I wanted.
Sanded and rounded the edges.

Bring on the Modge Podge.... I didn't want paper that had a busy print that way you could see the letters.

Another purchase at Walmart were these round magnets, I liked them because they had self adhesive that way I didn't have to bother with gluing them down. I put magnets on the pieces of wood and the big board.

I just cut out the letters with plain old cardstock with my cricut.
I didn't have any vinyl and it was late. I don't think they look too bad.

I only did two for each day but it can be created however fits you.

Added ribbon for cuteness.

And the final look....
Its hanging in my laundry room as I type :)

I thought I might be the only one at my party but you awesome ladies showed me such amazing support. I hope to see you again soon.
