Making chocolates
We spent the evening at the Carrolls house...making chocolates.
We recruited the kids to sit and roll the balls to dip. We rolled cherry, chocolate, cherry, orange, and then also some caramel. I think the kids had fun, fun dipping their fingers in the chocolate and eating it. I think Grandma had a few too many helpers, but she was very patient (as grandmas usually are).
It was a little messy, as you can see, but it cleaned up pretty good. The kids even did a good job not to get a bunch of middle candy stuff all over the floor, I should know, I cleaned up the floor :)
No matter the mess and the hard work it seems to be, they sure are yummy to eat and Grandma is pretty awesome to do this every year for the family.

The Latest Happenings......In no paticular order :)
Wk 32!!! I am on the final count down and I really am very excited :) :) I don't think we are quite ready so within the next 7 wks we ought to hurry right??
The Dr said that everything is looking good..I put on 4 lbs the most I have from one month to another but its all baby (hopefully)... I am measuring just a bit big but still the Dr says I am fine.
A lot of shortness of breath lately, something I didn't experience with my first two Pregnancies, so it has made things very interesting. The baby is moving great..too great sometimes, and his heartbeat sounds awesome.
It was great to hear the Doctor say that he wanted to see me in 3 weeks instead of 4 and then weekly after that. OH MY GOSH it really did come fast!!!! We are all so excited though...
Savanna is so funny about having baby Boston, she is going to hold him, change him, feed him, kiss him, wash him....EVERYTHING!!! She isn't shy about it either and she isn't shy about telling total strangers that her mommy is having a baby or that her mommy is pregnant. I about die every time, the people are so nice about it though.
Anyway, WHOOHOO!!! ONLY 7 WKS!!
Mr. Tage holding up some decorations at Grandma Carrolls....Now I know that the picture is blurry but they were all blurry and I don't know why. Every Christmas Grandma Carroll lets all the grand kids decorate their tree (very trusting of her) and in T's left hand is a pickle decoration...yes, I typed it right..a pickle. Apparently someone puts it up inside the tree somewhere and if someone finds it they take it and hide it somewhere else in the tree...I must have missed something in the 7 yrs I have been in the family because this is the first I had heard about it. Tage was super excited cause grandma said he could hide it first this year.
More tree decorating at the Carrolls
Just one of sissy...she did a great job decorating the bottom of the tree :)
This is Hailey (cousin), Tage and then Savanna.
Tage really is squished in there. They were getting pulled behind a 4-wheeler, they LOVED it!!
Tage on Santa's lap at the Ward Christmas Party
Savanna on Santa's lap at the ward Christmas party
This is our forest...Bart started calling it that and so now the kids call it our Christmas tree forest. There are 3 and I think they look pretty darn good.
A little untraditional but sometimes change is pretty good, and in this case I think it all turned out well. And again maybe not the best pic, but you get the idea.

28 wks down!
He really is just all out there isn't he? lol
Another week down and another month gone by. I am now starting my 3rd trimester, on the down slope. Went to the Doctor yesterday and things must be going really well because he didnt have much to say, I am so grateful that things are going so well.
I had both Tage and Savanna via C-section and this baby will be brought into the world the same way, but the doctor keeps talking about feeling some early contractions and possibly going into labor. Its a little difficult for me to even think about feeling any contraction of any kind. I never did with the first two...even being induced with Tage I never felt anything. I am sure every pregnancy is different so I suppose until this baby is born I better just take one day at a time and not think I KNOW everything.
At any rate, the baby is doing good...moving just as he should and already dislikes the doctor, he kept kicking at him while he was trying to hear the heart beat. We did get to hear his heart beat and it sounds perfect.
ONLY 12 more weeks!!! Seems crazy, but we are all sooooo excited to get him here.

SNOW!!!
Oh My Goodness!!!! What fun the snow can be when you are a child!!! As much as I don't like the cold weather and the wet ground all season long, this is what makes it all worth while.....seeing your kids have a BLAST!!!
Paul and Becca came up for the weekend, (now living in St. George, they don't see much of any snow) we couldn't get the kids together fast enough so they could play in the snow. This being pretty much the first snow to stick around for them to play in I gave in and let them run around until their little fingers were frozen.
Of course we had had snow ball fights before, but never had we made snowmen. And who else would be out there with them than myself :) and yes, I admit I had fun out in the snow with them.
I showed them how to start a small snow ball and then roll it on the ground in the snow to make an even bigger snow ball, they were amazed, to say the least. They all caught on pretty quickly with a little help.....and as you can see they made a family of snowmen. They however, weren't very interested with dressing them up, just rolling HUGE balls of snow.
There was also just some playing in the snow too.
Their snowmen masterpieces
Much of the time we found Cason (the kids' cousin) sitting and eating/licking snow... haha
Banna rolling a snow ball
Tage rolling a snow ball
This still cracks me up when I look at this picture. Tage, on purpose mind you, thought it would be fun to push snow into his face...not knowing the consequence of getting snow caught up inside his nose. Look really closely.
The three... L to R Banna, Tage and Cason
Playing in the snow.
After a while of fun and the excitement wore off, the kids came in....cold, wet and with red noses. Nothing a good cup of Hot Cocoa wouldn't fix.... it sure was yummy!

An Update
I don't have any pics to post this time because I seemed to have misplaced my camera.
There were a few Halloween pictures on there that we loved.
We carved pumpkins for the first time this year and it just might have been the last. Tage and Savanna didn't want anything to do with cleaning the "yuck" out of the pumpkins. It was quite comical watching their faces. Can we say squirmy??
Bart and I ended up cleaning them out and finishing them off. They turned out pretty good for our first time.
Trick-or-Treating was fun with the kids too. Tage is the biggest WHIMP! lol.... I know that is not nice to say as his mom but it is the truth. He is scared of his own shadow I swear! As we were walking from house to house, visiting friends, we came to sweet Mona Peterson's house......She was dressed up as a witch sitting out on her porch. She looked awesome!! Of course Tage being Tage he hid behind me as we walked up.... Little Miss Banna is a trooper and not afraid of ANYTHING, she walked right up and started talking to Mona. Savanna even got candy for Tage, who finally went up after he decided she was a friendly witch. We got a great pic of the whole thing.
For a pregnancy update...
As of today I am 27 wks and 2 days. Which means I only have about 13 wks left!!!!!!
Seriously, that doesn't seem like a whole lot of time left. Seems like I still have a whole lot to do.
This past week I haven't been feeling the greatest, really tired and a little more nausea AGAIN...I wasn't happy. Today so far is a lot better day, although, I am keeping my fingers crossed because you really never know.
The baby is doing good, moving a lot....just the other day I was sitting and watching him move all around. Speaking of the baby moving, he is at this very moment :)
I go back to the Doctor next week, another month and week down.
I will post a pic next week of the baby bump.

Pre-Halloween Festivities!
We have been having fun with all the Halloween fun that has been going on with church and family.
Another Halloween of decorating cookies. We usually always make tons of cookies and then have tons of cookies to decorate. We didn't make as many cookies this year but it still seemed like we had TONS to decorate!! It was fun as always.
The decorating aftermath!
When we all get together Savanna always seems to find Tyler and shadows him everywhere he goes...She loves Tyler and He is so awesome with her.
At church, the young women/men planned a Halloween Carnival for the Primary kids. There were some booths that the kids could play games and receive candy for participating, musical chairs and face painting.
Face Painting... My camera batteries died before i could get any pictures of Tage.
Musical Chairs.....if they called your number you won a cupcake! Of course everyone won!
Miss Savanna bowling
Waiting in line to throw darts to pop a balloon
Savanna fishing. The Bishop (grandpa) came in to visit everyone and I was lucky enough to get this picture! I was pretty happy about it :)
The Carnival and Cookie Decorating was all done in one night! Can you believe it?? It was a lot of fun but I was exhausted when we finally got home.

Lately.....
This is the Bump at 24 wks. The baby has really been moving around a lot and thinks that resting on my bladder is the place to be. I, on the other hand, beg to differ....I know its only going to get worse. Just recently we have been able to actually feel the baby with our hand, which for Bart means more.
This morning I was doing Savannas hair and my finger got tangled in it and she says, "Ouch....I'm going to bite you with my long teeth!" With a serious face mind you.... I just said "Oh really?" and kept doing her hair.
Just a bit later I was finishing getting ready and she came in and said that she was playing in her room. I asked her if she wanted to pick her room up.
Her reply, "No, I will do it someday." again with a straight face and then walked out of my room.
She really is getting so big and has a mind that keeps going and going and says the craziest things sometimes. I love her to death!
I had Tage at the dentist the other day.... I am so proud of him. He sat there motionless for the whole thing. Not that watching a movie had anything to do with it. Even when he got the numbing shot he was motionless.. He did great for his first time.

This and That......
So, it has been over a month since my last entry.....
I am positive that a lot has gone on, here is just a glimpse...
Tage is loving Kindergarten, he is always excited to go and always excited to show the work he has done for the day. Its fun to spend time with Savanna and see the real stinker she is. She really is excited for the new baby and talks to him every day, "Hi baby Boston" as she rubs my belly and then she kisses him. It really is cute. I guess by the name and I think most of you know that we found out about a month ago that we are going to be having a boy!! We are all excited. We took Tage and Savanna with us to the ultrasound and the whole time Savanna kept saying that she was getting a baby sister and Tage was getting a baby brother, even after we found out she insisted that she was having a baby sister. She has now warmed up to the idea of having a baby brother.
Here is also an updated picture of my belly..I am now just over 22wks. I have passed the half way point YAY!!! The past week or so is when I have started to feel him quite a bit. He is most active during the afternoon and evening times. Its still hard to feel him on the outside but boy he sure moves and grooves on the inside. It still seems like we have a long wait to see him but it goes by fast too. I was able to go thru all of my old baby clothes and actually save some things from Tage that I think just might work even though he will be a winter baby. I have been doing pretty good too....Mostly having good days and some here and there bad ones.
More to come soon...promise

The Piute
Bart had the day off and we decided that it would be fun to go fishing as a family. The weather wasn't the greatest, but we didn't care. We headed down to Piute Reservoir, with it raining on us practically the whole way down.
We had a great time... We bought Tage his own pole and would you believe that his pole was the only one that caught anything all afternoon!! That would be 5! After catching them all and fighting with Tage to come and take a picture with one every time, we finally did get him to take a pic right before we left with the only one we kept, and he only did because it was dead! Still the pic turned out perfect I think.
Bart the great fisherman!

14 wks...and counting
So I finally decided to bite the bullet and start posting pics of the baby bump and updates of the pregnancy...
Things are moving right along. 2 wks ago I seriously thought I was going to DIE (ok maybe not really) I was really sick and ended up going to the hospital for an IV. I was so glad I did, it made me feel so much better and things were actually staying down that I ate...ok maybe that was a little too graphic. On the upside we went to the doctor for my monthly appt. the same time I was sick... we got to hear a heart beat!! This has been the earliest we have heard the heart beat so it was awesome! A strong 173. I have even felt the baby move, since abt wk 9 or 10, which as a Mom is even more comforting. Tage and Savanna are way excited.
I was flipping thru the channels this afternoon and a baby story was on. The mom was going to be delivering via c-section and I thought it would be a good "teaching" experience for Tage. I kind of explained that that is what was going to happen to his mommy and he sat there and watched...he thought it was pretty cool that the doctors opened me up to get the baby out. We will see if the excitement lasts with all the time that we still have to go.

We are still here..... I think!
So I have decided that I am officially a slacker. It has been over a month since I have posted anything. Not that we haven't been doing anything, we have been pretty busy with things..
-We spent a day at Fish Lake with my parents and grandprents days before my grandpa had his 80th birthday.
-We had a huge family birthday party for my grandpa, I believe almost everyone was here.
-Found out that we are expecting again. Due in Feb. Quite a few people think it might just be twins. We will just have to wait and see......
-Of course we celebrated the 4th of July, which is always fun.
-Helped with the wedding of my nephew.
-Found a new and bigger place to live, so we are moving. Still in Richfield so we are happy about that.
It has been crazy with everything going on...and to top it off the prgnancy sickness showed its ugly head in the middle of it all. It hasn't been easy with that. We are taking everything in stride and are very grateful for the things we have and the family that is close.
